Case Manager, Youth Services: Each Case Manager is assigned to a residential program, either the Safe House Emergency Shelter or the Opportunity House TLP, and is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating case plans for residential and non-residential youth. The Case Manager has multiple responsibilities related to service provision to residential and drop-in clients.

The position requires experience working with youth ages 12 to 20; BA preferred; bilingual Spanish preferred,but not required. Valid California driver's license, current auto insurance and clear driving record are required.

Youth Worker, Youth Services: The Youth Worker is responsible for providing guidance, training and mentoring to youth in day to day living skills that include meal preparation, laundry training, housekeeping skills and child care needs. Active participation at assigned community events and meetings is required. Must maintain a professional attitude with youth and co-workers. Must follow and enforce agency rules.

The position requires experience working with youth ages 12 to 20 and knowledge of household skills; A.A. or Human Services Certificate preferred; bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required. Valid California driver's license, current auto insurance and clear driving record are required.

Batterers' Intervention Facilitator: The Batterers' Intervention Facilitator is responsible for conducting Batterers' Intervention Program classes for court and probation ordered clients who are required by law to complete a program of up to 52 weeks. Client records are confidential and must be maintained. Client progress notes and reports are computerized and are to be kept current. Supervision and staff meetings are a necessary part of the instructor's duties. Flexible hours are necessary and include evening hours.

Requires Batterers' Intervention Program group facilitator certification through San Joaquin County Probation.The position requires one year's experience in facilitating batterer groups with 52 weeks, or no less than 104 hours in six months, as a trainee in an approved batterers' intervention program with a minimum of one two-hour group each week. Solid computer skills are required. Facilitators must maintain 16 hours of Continuing Education annually and complete 40 hours Batterers' Intervention Training in accordance with PC 1203.098. Valid California driver's license preferred, current auto insurance and clear driving record are required.
